What you'll learn in this expert session

Forgetting about routine vaccines could see a resurgence of previously-deadly infectious diseases. People have been fronting up for repeated COVID vaccines but there has been a decline in the uptake of the more routine vaccines. And this puts us at risk of long-forgotten diseases such as polio and measles. In this presentation, A/Prof Nicholas Wood will discuss the importance of checking patients' immune status for vaccine-preventable diseases, knowing what's recommended even if it's not funded, as well as updating clinicians on what's new in the vaccination space and where these new vaccines are expected to fit in to the current schedule.
