What you'll learn in this expert session
Hard to believe now, but just a few years ago, the entire world shut down due to a single coronavirus. No one was travelling, and travel medicine became a forgotten art. Now, travel is back, and so are its challenges. Travellers once again need protection against familiar threats like malaria, yellow fever, dengue, rabies, and altitude sickness, while also facing newer challenges such as zika virus and Mpox(monkeypox). In this presentation, a travel medicine expert, Dr Bernie Hudson will provide an update on the most important and relevant of these emerging threats, treatments, tests, and protective measures.
