What you'll learn in this expert session
Chronic abdominal pain in children is a common presentation in general practice, but managing it is far from straightforward. While serious underlying causes are rare, you don’t want to overlook them. At the same time, subjecting the child to a barrage of unnecessary tests isn’t ideal. In this presentation, Paediatric Gastroenterologist, Dr Rupert Hinds provides an overview of the likely causes of chronic abdominal pain in children and, importantly, offers a practical framework for assessment and management in this challenging scenario.
