What you'll learn in this expert session
Protecting the endometrium is a priority when initiating hormone therapy for a symptomatic menopausal woman with an intact uterus. In this presentation, Prof Rod Baber, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, provides evidence for the role of progestogens in protecting women against endometrial hyperplasia and cancer. He also offers practical guidance for clinicians on selecting the appropriate progestogen, determining the dose and regimen, managing follow-up, and addressing potential side effects.
