What you'll learn in this expert session

Increasingly, IUDs are being seen as an appropriate, effective contraceptive option for women of all ages. And also increasingly, women will be looking to their healthcare professionals to have all the answers to questions about these devices, be it prior to insertion or once the device is in situ. In this presentation, women's health experts, Dr Terri Foran and Dr Sara Whitburn, will answer a number of questions sent in by Healthed's medical professional audience that relate specifically to IUDs, including how long they can safely stay in the uterus, how they might be managed in menopausal women and the role for IUDs other than Mirena.
