What you'll learn in this expert session
Iron deficiency, even without anaemia, can cause significant problems in children. From fatigue to behavioural issues, a lack of iron is often overlooked as a possible cause, despite being surprisingly common. In this presentation, Dr Rupert Hinds, Paediatric Gastroenterologist, details the prevalence and presentation of iron deficiency in children, its likely causes, recommended investigations, and, importantly, what needs to be done about it.
