What you'll learn in this expert session

In older people, reduced muscle health is a major predictor of poorer health outcomes. In this presentation, Dr Chris Bollen, General Practitioner, explains that there is significant value in identifying people who are at risk of reduced muscle health and intervening early to prevent, or at least reduce, further decline. Maintaining muscle health in older age is an area of growing interest in medicine, and very much within the remit of general practice. Being aware of the latest research and recommendations regarding the screening, diagnosis and management of this condition is therefore of major importance.
