About the Expert
Prof Andrew Sindone
Prof Andrew Sindone BMed (Hons), MD, FRACP, FCSANZ, FNHFA is the Director of the Heart Failure Unit and Department of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Concord Hospital, and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Ryde Hospital. He leads the Concord Hospital Heart Failure Clinic, including its research, rehabilitation, and outreach programs. Prof Sindone has served as Principal Investigator in 50 international, multi-centre clinical trials and has authored over 100 articles. He is Co-Chairman of the NSW Cardiovascular Expert Reference Group, a fellow of the Heart Foundation of Australia, and a co-author of the Australian and Asia-Pacific Heart Failure Guidelines
