About the Expert
Dr Gabby Mahoney
Dr Mahoney graduated from Bond University in 2013 and completed her general paediatric training in Queensland before moving to Melbourne to pursue specialty training in Paediatric Allergy & Immunology at Epworth Hospital Richmond and The Royal Children’s Hospital. She now calls Melbourne home and works as a consultant allergist at the Royal Children’s Hospital Immunisation service, at Sunshine Hospital paediatric allergy clinic, and in private practice at MACCS Medical Group (MACCS is pronounced ‘Max’, long version Melbourne Allergy Centre & Children’s Specialists). Gabby’s areas of interest include food, medication and vaccine allergy, chronic urticaria, eczema, allergic rhinitis and asthma.
