What you'll learn in this expert session
The assessment and management of chronic diarrhoea vary significantly depending on whether the patient is an infant, a young child, or an adolescent. In this presentation, Dr Rupert Hinds, a Paediatric Gastroenterologist, provides a practical guide for clinicians managing these young patients. He discusses not only the red flags that warrant further investigation and referral but also the common benign causes of chronic diarrhoea at different ages, which can often be diagnosed and managed based on history and examination alone.
