What you'll learn in this expert session
COVID is still very much around, and older people are still most at risk of significant morbidity and even mortality from this disease. Evidence from the pandemic showed that those aged over 65 were 23 times more likely to die with COVID infection than those aged under 65. A/Prof Griffin will explain important management strategies, many of which involve primary care, that can be helpful in mitigating this risk for this group.
