What you'll learn in this expert session
For most healthcare professionals, self-collection for cervical screening has significantly transformed clinical practice. It is a highly acceptable option for women who wish to engage in preventive health but may have previously avoided the speculum approach. However, questions remain: What is the failure rate? In this presentation, Dr Nomvuyo Mothobi, a Clinical Microbiologist and Infectious Diseases Physician, will address these key questions, provide updates, and discuss the current state of cervical screening in Australia.
