About the Expert
Dr Chris Wever
Dr Chris Wever is a child, adolescent and family psychiatrist and author. He has worked in a wide variety of professional capacities in both public and private sectors in the management of children with mental health issues. He has founded programmes for children with OCD, school refusal and disruptive behaviours. Dr Wever now works in full time private practice on the Gold Coast, Queensland and is involved in teaching many different groups of professionals in the field of child psychiatry. In the past he was an Assistant Professor at Bond University and is now on the faculty at the medical school, Griffith University.
