Infectious Disease Physician and Clinical Microbiologist, A/Prof Paul Griffin, explains Australia’s advances in influenza vaccine technology, as well as the differences between influenza vaccines and why this is important to understand in order to better inform patients of the choices available.

This short video will be followed by a short learning module on an influenza vaccine.

About the Expert

A/Prof Paul Griffin

A/Prof Paul Griffin is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Clinical Microbiologist, and was appointed as the Director of Infectious Diseases at Mater Health Services in 2013. In addition, A/Prof Griffin continues appointments as Principal Investigator and Medical Director at Q-Pharm, as a Director of the Immunisation Coalition, and also as Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Queensland.
