What you'll learn in this expert session
Increasingly, adult patients are presenting to their clinicians asking, "Could I have ADHD?" The reality is that many myths and misconceptions surround adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), making it challenging to distinguish fact from fiction, even for clinicians. In this presentation, Dr Pansy Lai, Mental Health General Practitioner, addresses these issues. Dr Lai debunks common misconceptions about the condition and discusses its prevalence, key presenting features, and how healthcare professionals can assist in the assessment and management of these often-distressed patients.
